Respect the Transition

It has been said by many that life is a book with many chapters,

new obstacles and new ladders,

that we must learn to climb on a daily basis.

I believe that this is true,

for if it were not I would not have been through,

so much while simply trying to achieve greatness.

From learning how to fold dollar bills,

to learning new technological skills.

Transition has always been a part of my life,

and you may ask how do I manage,

when the ways of the sighted world seem to leave me at a disadvantage,

and get myself to the point where achieving a task does not require me to think twice.

I respect the transition.

The answer is simple but yet so complex,

especially when your life becomes a test of difficult choices and matters,

flipping you upside down and turning you into a wreck,

making things worse when you only want the best,

and leaving you with thoughts and decisions misplaced and scattered.

I know exactly how you feel my friend,

you've come so far but yet the road never seems to end,

and you wonder if you will ever be able to say you made it.

Well I am here to tell you that if you learn to respect the transition and embrace it,

you will indeed overcome the obstacles of life,

and reach the point where achieving any task does not require you to think twice.
